Jeffrey Tseng
University Lecturer
Department of Physics and St Edmund Hall
University of Oxford

Jeff Tseng's main research interest is the nature of fundamental properties of matter and antimatter, in particular the subtle ways in which antimatter is not quite the opposite of matter. He is a member of the ATLAS experimental collaboration at CERN, after having spent a number of years with the CDF experiment at Fermilab. His interest in complex systems arises from building large-scale computing systems for particle physics research. He is the Project Manager of the "SouthGrid" regional grid (a collaboration of Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick, and CCLRC), and he would like to see how an understanding of complex systems can inform the design and management of grid computing networks.
