Antonis Papachristodoulou University Lecturer in Engineering Science (Control Engineering) Department of Engineering Science University of Oxford | |
Dr Antonis Papachristodoulou is a University Lecturer in Control Engineering at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. His background is in Control and Dynamical Systems and Aeronautics. His PhD thesis was on "Scalable Analysis of Nonlinear Systems using Convex Optimization", and provided an algorithmic approach for understanding the properties of nonlinear, hybrid and time-delay systems at different scales.
His current research interests include the analysis of large-scale networked systems arising in Engineering and Biology: network congestion control for the Internet, synchronization phenomena in oscillator networks, robust functionality of biochemical reaction networks, etc. He is also interested in the synthesis of control laws so that engineered and biological systems achieve scalable, robust functionality.
