Omar holds a MSc in Computational Economics from the University of Essex (UK) and a PhD in Computational Social Science from George Mason University (USA). He is interested in developing agent-based models that generate realistic economic dynamics and can be used for policy design. His current research employs large-scale micro-data, analysis of complex networks, and agent-based modeling to improve our understanding about labour markets.
